Last Weigh In

Well, I am here at 165.  I remember a few months ago when I couldn't kick the 178 spot, but eventually I did, and I am hoping the same for this 165 spot.  I don't know why I hate seeing the same number everyweek.  I should be happy that it's not sky rocketing up.  My goals are to stay off the sodee....man I love that stuff.  And To work out harder!!  I truly want to be down another 15 by summer time, and TONE!

Up a Few

Well I figured this would happen.  I finished the cleanse and started eating real food again, and I went up a few pounds.  I seriously wish there was a Fat Flush.  Something that I could drink, that would truly grab all the nasty fat in my body and just flush it down the toilet.  I would stay home a few days in a row, so I could sit on the toilet while all my fat flushed away!....I know, super gross thought, but I am owning those thoughts as my own!!  However, I did throw two birthday parties this week, and a baby shower.  Which means, I was in charge of not only making the food, but also taste testing it.  Ugghhh.  I am noticing my self control of consuming food is terrible.  Heres my motivation!

Dropped a Few More

Well this week, I weight 160.  Which is pretty good considering that in 4 months I have lost 20 lbs.  My goal is 145 by March 3, 2013.  That is exactly 1 month from now. What does that mean, I need to lose 15 more lbs in a month.  I don't know if that is possible, but I am going to give it everything I've got.  I would like to win this competition, but more importantly to me, is meeting my goal!  I WILL NOT be the fat mom on the side of the pool this summer, so the opposite of that.....I WILL BE the HOT mom IN the pool with my kids this summer!!

Week 3

Down again!  Yeah.  I am detoxing my system for two weeks with mild exercise.

Monday, January 21, 2013

Gained

Well I gained.  Super bummed about that!
My downfalls are eating crackers and cheese,
only doing barely enough to call it a workout,
not getting up earlier so I can get my workouts in,
and truly my food choices.
i love love love delicious food, and its really hard for me to walk away.

this is my motivation

This is not me, how I wish it was.
I know this gorgeous woman, and she worked her tail off
to have these amazing abs.
And her legs, I love the adorable little knee caps.
I've never had those, even when I used to be an aerobic instructor,
they were still hiding behind layers of muscle and fat.
I truly want to look amazing, but somewhere inside me gives up so easily.
Like, my brain says, "you have a really long ways to go, and you are probably going to fail,
so just have a few drinks of mt. dew and a mini snickers. you'll be fine, and just as far behind as you are now.  no harm, because you are already so far gone."

what a crappy thinking brain huh!

My positive points...
I worked out everyday this week but Sunday.
I drank way more water than I usually do!
I ate way for fruits and veggies than normal.
And I took my vitamins!

Week 2

To begin...I really wish that after one day of working out, that I looked completely fit, like I feel!!

Second...I ate healthy all week, and I wished that after doing that, I looked super hot.

And Third...I was robbed (victim mentality! hehe) by this cleanse on Pinterest.
It promised me 10-17 lbs, and I only lost 4.
YES 4 lbs is progress in the right direction, but I was truly banking on at least 10.
This is the cleanse I used.
As it states on the bottom, my jeans did slide right over my hips, and my waist line and hips have lost inches, but I was just hoping for more.  Anyways, I am a little worried, because I am seeing all these girls on the main site rock it.  Now I don't know what they are all doing, but they are doing something right and are seriously shredding some poundage, which is awesome and I should be completely supportive and happy for them.  But my competitive nature takes over my thoughts and I want to crush the competition.  Such a jerk thing to say when I am supposed to be nice and helpful.

I found this pic of this girl.  It shows her progress and I have no idea how she did it, but I am so stinkin impressed with her butt, arms, and abs in the final result.  She looks amazing, and that is how I want to look!

Starting Weight and Pics...blah

My Starting weight is 168.8
My Goal is 145 by 3-3-2013
Here is the front shot of my bod....don't judge me please.
Here is the side shot.
Posture is bad, but really praying this all gets better.
Now thinking back I should have taken a pic of my legs and butt.
That's the worst part.

Here I Go Again!

Well, I am excited to start this weight loss challenge.

I want to be 145 lbs. by his 1st birthday!
I am so ready to start my weight loss journey.
Good Luck Ladies!

167.8

I am not doing that great at dropping pounds. I am at 167.8 and it seems like I need to do something drastic, other than just exercising and eating better. I am going to have to seriously work harder, and I am already so sore.

Back At It Again

So, I am in really Bad Shape right now. I am 5'9.5" tall and I currently weigh 169 pounds. Which is way more than I was when I started this last time. I am super motivated right now. I want to get pregnant in June, which some people might be thinking, why even bother, but I don't want to be super fat....so here I go. I worked out 5 days out of 7 last week! Good Job me!

Didn't Hit My Goal

Well I didn't hit my goal, however I have seen huge improvements of my body image and running is getting so much easier. I still feel like gravity is working against me and I am not just flowing with the wind. But...it is getting better and that is something to celebrate. I am not doing a weight loss challenge again for sometime. Maybe after summer, but I am complete for now and am going to continue on the path!!

Just Maintaining

I am at 154 today, which isn't terrible. But my goal is 145 by next Friday, so I am going to do some drastic measures to get as close to my goal as I possibly can. I am not talking about starvation, but I am talking about stepping up my exercise an extra notch and possibly the grapefruit diet. I can get into the 140's, I know I can!

How Strange....

Okay, I have been working my tail off and keep rotating back and forth between 156 or 157 and this week, I only worked out 3 times and I got on the scale early this morning and it read, 151.2 and I was like what? That can't be right. So I weighed my self a few more times to make sure, and it was right. So I ate breakfast and went pee and then weighed myself and I was 153.4, so that is the weight I am entering, but all I can say is that I am super stoked to have lost a few pounds and not weigh 157 for the 5 week in a row.

Super Frustrated

Well I am super frustrated, I have been working out a ton and eating really well, however, it's like nothing is happening. In fact, I am up 3 pounds from last week. I am noticing differences in my body, where it's starting to thin and firm, but I really want this fat to fall off already. These last 10 pounds are kicking my trash. And not to mention.......super personal.......but my butt and legs are like jello. uuuggghhhhh

Monday, May 4, 2009

A little Bit at a Time

Well I am doing really good at getting up at 5:30am and walking/jogging for approx. 5 miles. Then I come home and do my abs, push-ups, squats, lunges, jump-n-jacks and whatever else I have energy for. I am not eating past 7pm. I am eating very little sweets and no fast food. I am drinking tonz and tonz of water. I am also taking my vitamins. However I am not noticing a huge change on the scale, but I am seeing a difference in my body, little by little.

Friday, April 24, 2009

155....woo hoo

So everyday for the past few weeks, the scale says 156. something. I don't believe I've ever been that consistent with anything. Anyway, this week I chose not to get on the scale, but to really up my exercising, and it broke the cycle. It may only be a pound, but it's a pound in the right direction. I also have been very cautious of my water intake. And here is a little cheat..I love Mt. Dew but have not been drinking it during any of the past few challenges, however I crave it tremendously, so what I've resorted to is When Dave is finished drinking his, I eat his Mt. Dew ice. This is a huge treat for me!!

Weekly Challenge

I am excited to try this new weekly challenge of no white flour or sugar this week. This will be something new for me that I've never tried before. Also, it will keep me away from all the Easter Candy!!

Re-Committing Myself

Okay, I can't believe how comfortable I have become in this skin of mine that has layers of fat just below the surface. I remember as a life-guard and aerobic Instructor, I used to look at people who I knew before they had kids, and think, I am never going to let myself go like that. I will always work out and eat healthy, it's just who I am. Well, I did exactly what I said I wouldn't do, and thus that is the reason I am doing this competition. It's not to kick other people's butts or win, it's just to get the previous mindset and body back. I am working hard.

What am I doing Wrong

worked out good this week, ate great.....and gained weight. So frustrated right now. Can I just say, the last 10 pounds is tough. However, after talking to my friend I've decided to try a different eating pattern and hopefully this will jar my plateau.

155 pounds, 10 Pounds away from My goal

I am 10 Pounds away from my goal exactly. I am really frustrated. I have eaten pretty great this week, but the problem came last week when I was having my monthly friend visit, I loved every cookie and nacho I could find. So I guess it is coming back to my in an ugly revenge this week.
I am reading this fantastic book right now, and part of it talks about successful people and unsuccessful people. Something that successful people do is to practice consistency and to everyday, do a little bit of what they want to be really good at later. They may not have made complete sense, so let me put it this way. A successful person wakes up every morning with a blank piece of paper, and as they do their daily actions, they write those down on a piece of paper. At night, they put that piece of paper to the side, and start a new blank piece in the morning. So imagine, everyday your filling that paper with "i ate healthy today", "I exercised today." ..........but everyday there are a little bits of good things you've done throughout the day.....and this continues for a lifetime. When you gather your pile of papers, you will have a pile of successes that has now shaped and molded who you are. They say, it takes just as much to fail as it does to succeed. It all comes down to the decisions you make, small or large, on a daily basis. If you choose to work out, that goes on your blank piece of paper and at the end of the week or a lifetime, your results will be a direct reflection of the daily choices you made. If you choose to fail and not work out, at the end of the week and of your lifetime, again......your choices you had made daily in the past will be a direct reflection of your shape and health. I love this concept and it's 100% true and 100% proven. It works everytime, but the coolest part is that it works with anything in life. The amount of time you spend with your children, the amount of knowledge you choose to put into your brain daily, when you choose to clean a little bit a day or do a little bit of laundry everyday (in the end--it's not so much to catch up on when your doing a little bit everyday.) And with some things, like the time you spend with loved ones, you can't take that back in the end of time and try to catch up.....so if you use this concept of the blank piece of paper every morning, you will fill more fulfilled in the end and possibly as you're enjoying the journey. Good Luck this week ladies.

Down 2 Pounds

So I really did terrible the last week of the last challenge, because I knew I wasn't in winning position, so I ate my share and everyone else's of the cookies I baked. Bad news. But I am not doing this really to win the competition any more, I just want to hit my goal weight of 145, so why do I go and bing like that. I don't know but I am back on track. To start everything out right, I am doing a seven day clense that I purchased over the counter and I am pooing my brains out, I know gross, but it's what I am doing. So I am down 2 pounds from last Friday and my goal is to keep dropping and dropping. I wish everyone luck in having their perfect weight.

YES, 152.8....I am getting there

Yes, I am at 152.8, and I am celebrating every ounce!!!

Still losing weight, ONE pound at a TIME

Yes, I am still losing weight, one pound at a time, but I am celebrating the fact that I am still losing. However, I have a confession. When I started this competition originally, I started eating really well, with smaller portions and quit drinking Mt. Dew. I also would excercise here and there, but there was absolutely no consistency. I might get in one or two workouts a week. I know, it's terrible, but I still lost 12 pounds, just by doing that. But since that initial 12 pounds came off, I have hit a plateau, but my cousin Dusty who is also in the competition came up with a great idea to hold one another accountable at night. So I call her or she calls me and we report what excercise we have done for the day. And I have to say that for the past 2 weeks I haven't missed a day, except for Sundays which is my day of rest, but I've done really good and I am starting to notice a real change in my body. Things are firming up and my pants are fitting even looser than before. So that is my celebration for this week. I am getting back into my groove and have the desire to lose the weight and firm up, so that is great.

Friday, February 6, 2009

Okay, I've Hit the Plateau again

Well I am noticing on Wednesday's the scale reads awesome numbers, but by Friday it appears to be the same. So anyway, I know what my issue is and it's exercise. I am only doing enough to stay where I am at. I really deserve to step it up, but I am such a lazy butt. Partially because our sleep patterns are still super crazy, but regardless, I am a lazy butt. Soooooo.......I know what I need to do. Now the difference between me winning and losing is going to me the difference between knowing and doing. I know what needs to happen, but am I going to DO it? NOW, I am going to Mexico in March, the week after the competition ends, I really want to look super great, you know like a model, but at the rate I am headed, I don't see it happening. This sux

WHAT DID THAT SCALE JUST SAY

This is just a quick post, but today, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE AFTERNOON, I jumped on the scale, and holy cow, it actually read 153.6--so for some of you, your like so that's the weight of a chubby lubby. But, It's the lowest I've been so far, Pretty Excititng for me. You go Girl. WoO HOOOO

WOW, everyone is kicking my tail

Okay, so I thought I was doing pretty good and getting back on track, and then I check out everyone's stats today, and Staci is kicking tail. 21 pounds in 20 days. That's amazing. So I am going to have to check out this raw thing, but I have to get remotivated. I had a hand full of M&M's yesterday and loved every savory bite. And I want to do it again today, but I wont, but I want to.

So I am up a little

Okay, so this last week I was in LA and it was a road trip which means I ate a few crappy meals because we were driving. And the truth is, I just can't convince myself to eat a salad when theres nachos on the menu. So Here I go....we have a trip to Acapulco, Mexico the week after our competition, so I am really going to kick some butt. Then in June or July I will be in Hawaii. So, my bathing suit season has got to rock. Here is a picture of me now, 12 pounds lighter than when I started last competition and on the scale early last Friday morning.

Thanks To Everyone

Well I just wanted to add a huge thank you to everyone who supported me and competed against me during this last challenge. There were definitely days that I wanted to eat until I was a chunky monkey, but knowing who I had to report to and know my weight would be posted for the world to see was very motivating. There's nothing like sharing your intents with a huge group of individuals to hold yourself accountable. So I was able to lose around 12-13 pounds and that was great. In fact this last weekend we had a huge kick-off event for our business and I was on stage in front of 1500 people and felt pretty good. I didn't feel super sexy, but I didn't feel super frumpy either. So all in all, I am proud of my efforts and am now ready to tone up this body of mine. Lots of love to all and good luck during this next challenge ladies. Oh, I added a picture, please forgive the funny face, I was laughing and speaking at the same time. The camera always catches funny pics like that when your on stage.

Saturday, January 3, 2009

Again, I ask the Question "How bad do I want it?"

Here I am a week from ending the competition and I am hating the scale. Having the Holidays is really hard. I have been so good at watching what I eat, however I can't imagine what the scale would read if I went into the Holidays like I have done in the past. No wonder people usually gain so much during this time of year. So this week I am hitting it hard. I really do anticipate so loss. Good luck ladies.

Here I go, playing Catch up

Well I feel like I am chasing Kelly and Kathy just as fast and as hard as I can possibly go. I just want to congratulate them for doing so great. As for me, well I weighed in this morning at 155 and that's great, but I have 10 official pounds to lose before hitting my goal. It seems like I am reaching to touch it, but my arms are too short. So I am kicking it up a ton this week. Again, congrats to all the ladies who are really rockin' it.

bIRtHDay WeEk

It was my birthday on Wednesday and I ate a little too much all week to celebrate. I will be working harder this next week. I hate to gain!! repeat....I hate to gain!

Where Have I Been

We went to St. George this weekend and there was a ton of great food, and lots of desserts and soda pop. So what did I do????? Well I ate pretty much everything that was prepared, except I practiced portion control with everything. I also stayed away from soda's and desserts. I drank lots of water and then when we had the JUMBO POTATO bar, with everything you could imagine.....I ate it, but basically just the toppings and I skipped the potato, it was seriously huge. But part of the spread was celery and broccoli, so I filled up on that. Anyway, I am working out hard today, but I am still going to eat a cookie or two. I will make up for it throughout the day. So this morning my exercise routine is jumping on the small tramp, jump rope, and boxing for my cardio. I am then going to do a ton of abs. Good Luck Ladies.

Friday, December 5, 2008

Stayed the Same

That's okay though, at least I didn't gain, and I am loving that my pants fit so much better. Really looking forward to my new eating habits being a life long habit.

Friday, November 28, 2008

YES, I SURVIVED, OH YES I DID

Okay, so I lost 3 pounds this week. I did have the 24 hour bug on one day, so that helped cleanse me a little. Then I did a 6 mile walk-run Thanksgiving morning and made sure I didn't eat any pie, potatoes, or bread....and well. I was tempted, believe me, but I was drivin' more by my goals than anything else. Just want to Thank Kelly for her continued support and motivation. She gave some really great running advice on my last blog comments, check it out if your curious or want to really pick up running. Anyway, my clothes are getting looser, I feel really good about myself, my complexion is awesome right now due to all the water intake, and I am just feeling super stoked and excited....like..."I can really do this." So I am looking forward to another week of success. Good Luck Ladies.

YOU LADIES ARE SO GREAT

I just want to say how great everyone is and how supportive. Doing this competition with all of your support makes things so much better than going at it alone.
As for excercising, still struggling with that one, but I am eating great. I plan on sticking with it whether Thanksgiving is Thursday or not. I decided to go forward with the weight loss challenge this time to keep on track during the holidays and I am going to do it, without a doubt. One really great thing about eating at my In-Laws for Thanksgiving is that they live right across from a track, and believe me, I am going to live on that baby. I am a terrible runner, but I can speed-walk maybe throw in a little jog here and there. I am excited about that.

Friday, November 21, 2008

DOWN 2, 15 MORE TO GO

WOW, IT SEEMS SO LARGE WHEN YOU PUT IT THAT WAY. I FEEL I HAVE A LONG WAYS TO GO. BUT I KNOW I CAN DO IT. FIRST OFF, I AM SO CELEBRATING THE FACT THAT I WAS IN THE 150'S THIS MORNING. NOW, IT PROBABLY WON'T LAST THROUGHOUT THE DAY, BUT I WAS THERE, SO I AM CELEBRATING THAT. SECOND, MY ULTIMATE GOAL IS 145 AND I PLAN ON DOING THAT BY MARCH FOR A LITTLE TRIP WE HAVE PLANNED ON A BEACH. SO AS LONG AS I AM CONSISTENTLY LOSING AND FEELING GOOD, I AM PROUD OF THE WORK I AM DOING. DID I MENTION..........I HATE WORKING OUT TO VIDEO'S IN MY HOUSE. IT IS SO UNMOTIVATING. I LOVE TO BE OUTSIDE, BUT THE TIME I CAN GO OUT AND RUN, IT'S SO FREAKIN' COLD. SO, NOW I KNOW I MENTIONED IT.....JUST FOR THE RECORD.

Counting Calories

I am doing great....except, I did slip up a little this weekend, but still kept my calorie intake low. How do I know what I am counting, well, I asked Kelly and she said go to www.mycaloriecounter.com and so I did. And it does it all for me, love it. Next, I just started a new workout routine and tapes. I am sad to report this.....but I purchased this off an infomercial at midnight in St George , Utah while laying in my hotel bed, but it's called "Melt It Off" and I am one sore cookie. While I was doing the exercises, I didn't think it was really that hard, but my butt has been kicked for sure.

Friday, November 14, 2008

Oh I Am Sore

I started a new video workout series yesterday, and I am sore. So sore that I couldn't finish the cardio workout, so I jumped on the tramp for 30 minutes and walked as well.
As for my meal plan, I stuck with it terrifically, however I did eat 5 chocolate chips tonight, I was craving chocolate so bad, so I figured that would be the least harmful. I also drank enough water to keep a small boat afloat.

YEAH FOR ME

WELL Things are looking good this morning, my weight is 161.4 from 166.2 where I started. I am starting an excercise routine and I have been eating a high veggie, high protein diet, along with citrus. However, I want to eat every carb in site, so I may have to check a new method of diet. However, I hope things continue at this pace. I AM HERE TO WIN THIS TIME, and I MEAN IT!

Thursday, November 13, 2008

Thursday, Oh Man I Am Craving Pizza

I had another FANTASTIC day. So I stuck with my meal plan to a "T" and I worked out for 1.5 hours and then I went on a walk as well. Yeah for me!! However, for lunch David had beans and frybread, oh I wanted it bad. Then for dinner he ate deep dish Hawaiian pizza. It looked and smelled so delicious. I seriously am so proud of myself for not giving in.

5 Foot 9.5 Inches and Goal Weight of 140

Okay I looked it up, and Jennifer Garner is my same height. She weighs 125 pounds and my goal is 140 pounds. I thought I was doing good aiming at 140. But if she weighs less, than maybe I should shoot for 125. However, I am being realistic and shooting for 140 first. If I hit it, then I will go for 125.

Saturday, November 8, 2008

HERE I GO AGAIN, ROCK ME LIKE A HURRICANE

OKAY, SO I AM GOING TO DO THE CHALLENGE AGAIN, MY PLAN IS TO KICK SOME SERIOUS TALE THIS TIME. LAST TIME I WAS SO FOCUSED ON "TRYING TO LOSE WEIGHT" AND I'VE DECIDED THAT "TRYING" JUST SET ME UP FOR FAILURE, SO THIS TIME THERE IS NO "TRYING", I AM JUST GOING TO LOSE WEIGHT NO MATTER WHAT. I WILL GET ON THE SCALE AND POST THAT SOON.

Wednesday, July 30, 2008

FINAL WEIGH-IN

Well I waited until the very last second of the day, hoping something would change....and I can affirm, there is NO change. I weigh 161.4...................I am, however, highly motivated by the results of Kristal and Ashley. They truly are two incredible women, who achieved incredible results.

PLATEAU

Well, it looks like I've hit my plateau right here at the low 160's. Today I am 161 and not loving it. Time to do something different...

Distorted Vision of Myself

Okay, I am completely maintaining and I have to say, I have lost my drive. I know it's completely lame, but when I see everyone else kicking my tale, I just get frustrated and feel I shouldn't even try, but I know deep down inside that this isn't just a contest with others, it's my true desire to be in shape again. Not just skinny, but truly in shape. I am very disappointed in my body image right now. And you know what else, it seems I have some distorted vision of myself at the same time. There are definitely days, when I think I look so great and that I am not out of shape or overweight, when I clearly know I am. My brain is playing messed up tricks on my. So some days I see my self as I truly am and then I am completely bummed all day. Then there are other days when I feel I look great, and these are the days I will eat too many sweets just because I am already feeling good. So who the crud knows what's wrong with my brain? This week I weigh in at 160.4
